An 80-year old farmer, Ukpo Okaa, has faulted the notion that old age is a threat to sexual activity.
Okaa, the father of 15-month-old conjoined twins, Hassana and Hussaina, separated recently by a team of doctors at the Federal Medical Centre in Keffi, Nasarawa State, stated this on Sunday in an interview with The PUNCH in Abuja.
He said he does not take any sex-enhancement drugs because sexual powers come from God.
The twins were born to Okaa and his 27-year old wife, Tasara Okaa, both from Udeke in the Nasarawa Local Government Area.
Okaa told The PUNCH, “I’m proud to be a father of twins. I’m grateful to God, it’s not within my powers. My sexual powers come from God, it’s God that helps me to do that. Everybody has his own ability, I don’t take any sex-enhancement drugs. I’m still able to act and perform.

“There’s no secret of getting twins, they come from God, twins do not run in my family. There were financial challenges in taking care of the twins because I am a farmer. We thank the government for the assistance they have given us so far.
His wife, Tasara said she did not experience any challenge during the pregnancy of the twins.
“I didn’t think I was going to be a mother of twins. But there is a trace of twins in my family. I did not experience any difficulty during the pregnancy period,” she stated.
The hospital said the cost of the operations was estimated at N35 million.
